When you hear the words “you have breast cancer” you need a solid medical team and personalized support. The same is true if your mother, sister, wife or other loved one is diagnosed with the disease.
You may need that support from the beginning of your journey or at any time during treatment, or after initial treatment is complete and you are building your “new normal” life. ABCD mentors assure that no one need take this journey alone. Mentors are matched one-to-one to provide breast cancer support – patient to patient or loved-one to loved-one.
If you have been through a breast cancer journey – as patient, family or friend – and you are looking for a way to share your compassion in a personal way, consider becoming an ABCD mentor.
