The very talented Billy Joel once said, “I think music in itself is healing. It’s an explosive expression of humanity. It’s something we are all touched by. No matter what culture we’re from, everybody loves music.”
And we couldn’t agree more!
ABCD is grateful for the talents of the Mission River Band and its members’ commitment to ABCD. Join us on Saturday June 4 @1pm at Fiddleheads Café in Thiensville at 192 South Main Street for a toe tapping outdoor concert and ABCD mission updates.
The Mission River Band evolved from the friendship of a group of guys – all busy in their professions, dedicated to their families, and active in the community – who got together to play simply for the joy of making music with people they liked.
As the friendships deepened, the musicianship improved, the repertoire expanded, and the “mission” of Mission River evolved. MRB inspiration and motivation comes from performing in support of causes that are important to the group’s members.
ABCD is grateful to be one of MRB’s favorite causes. And, we are also grateful to hour hosts, Fiddleheads Café. Check them out at: http://www.fiddleheadscoffee.com/fiddleheads_coffee_cafes_thiensville.aspx
We look forward to seeing you June 4th with ABCD and Richard (Dick) Phalen, bass & vocals; Jim Lopina, keyboards & vocals; Bernard (‘Bud’) Bobber, guitar & vocals; Dave Karp, guitar & piano; Lou Marino, drums & percussion and help us “Rock for a Reason.”

The event will be held outside and in the event of inclement weather, will be postponed.
