ABCD’s Ambassador Outreach Training, Volunteer Orientation

From special events to our outreach and education efforts, ABCD’s volunteers are our foundation. ABCD volunteers are not only breast cancer survivors they are also family and friends of survivors or simply people who want to have a positive impact on one of the most significant health issues affecting women. All are welcome and anyone can volunteer!


Please join us for our first Ambassador Volunteer Orientation on Thursday, September 27th from 5:30pm-6:30pm in the conference room at our ABCD office located at 5775 N. Glen Park Road, Suite 201, Glendale, WI 53209.


Directions Via Freeway

-Take I-43N to Silver Spring Drive WEST exit (near Bayshore Mall)

-Travel west on Silver Spring to Bridgewood Lane (third stop light after you exit freeway).  Turn right at stop light, between two car dealerships Concours Motors and Andrew Toyota/Scion. (There is also a Lexus dealership across the street.)

-Bridgewood QUICKLY becomes La Salle Avenue and then Glen Park Road (all in a matter of seconds). 5775 N. Glen Park Road is located on the southwest corner of Glen Park and Civic Drive, directly across the  street from Elite Sports Club North Shore.

– We are in the VISA Lighting Building (large contemporary building on the southwest corner), our entrance is on the east side of the building.  Please park in the right side of the parking lot.

Note:  The Entrance is not yet marked with “ABCD” but has a green canopy and address “5775”

Enter at “5775” and follow the signs


Our brief orientation will give attendees a chance to meet ABCD staff, the new volunteer coordinator, talk about the integral yet easy role a volunteer plays in supporting our mission through ABCD’s Outreach Program and share upcoming events.
