Announcing New Mentor Training
November 3 and November 10 (Saturdays)
Glendale, Wisconsin
8:45am – 3:15pm
Mentors are truly the heart of ABCD’s mission to offer free, personalized information and one-to-one support to people affected by breast cancer.
Mentors are breast cancer survivors from all walks of life, representing all stages and treatment patterns of breast cancer.
Mentors are mothers, daughters, sisters, husbands, and friends of breast cancer survivors, all experienced in providing support to a loved one as well as understanding the needs of caregivers.
The 12 hour training program is divided into 2 sessions. The program will provide you with the knowledge and skills you need to offer support to newly diagnosed breast cancer patients as you mentor them on a one-to one basis.
Continental breakfast and lunch are provided.
ABCD’s programs are free, but reservations are required.
