HealthCue and ABCD: After Breast Cancer Diagnosis Announce Strategic Partnership
WASHINGTON, DC (August 20, 2013) ¾ HealthCue, a developer of mobile technology that enhances communication between healthcare providers and their patients, and ABCD: After Breast Cancer Diagnosis, a national organization that provides one-to-one support to anyone affected by breast cancer, today announced a partnership that combines technology and personalized support. ABCD has integrated its breast cancer support services into HealthCue’s first app, iCanFind Everything Breast Cancer.
“The collaboration between HealthCue and ABCD: After Breast Cancer Diagnosis combines technology with a personal touch,” said HealthCue CEO Traci Richards. “Through iCanFind Everything Breast Cancer, breast cancer patients and survivors have the ability to maintain all of their medical information in one place while also having direct access to someone who has been in their shoes and can offer emotional support.”
The Everything Breast Cancer app features customizable tools that can track all aspects of a breast cancer patient’s disease as they move through diagnosis, treatment and survivorship.
“ABCD shares the belief with HealthCue that anyone affected by breast cancer must have access to reliable information and emotional support as a complement to appropriate medical care,” said Ginny Finn, Executive Director, ABCD: After Breast Cancer Diagnosis. “We are excited to be a part of a technology that is empowering and accessible to breast cancer patients, survivors, families and friends.”
